SECTOR: Environment and Climate Change
Over 20,000 people impacted.
Over 52 schools engaged.
Kenya is surrounded by natural beauty yet faces relentless environmental degradation. Deforestation, climate change, and biodiversity loss are reflections of the global triple planetary crisis that affect communities and livelihoods. This has ignited my passion to make a difference under the Green Generation Initiative.
The Green Generation Initiative solves the urgent environmental challenges of deforestation, climate change, and biodiversity loss, which are threats to the ecological beauty and balance and livelihoods of communities in Kenya and Africa. The initiative empowers the next generation to take active roles in environmental conservation and sustainable development by providing environmental education programs and hands-on involvement in establishing eco-projects such as green spaces in schools.
